Prior to that position, Ms. Cadena was a Community Support Specialist for Reliance Factor of America, working with families who had children with blood disorders, accessing community support services and providing ongoing case management services. All of the employment positions held by Ms. Cadena beginning in 2002 have been in the social services field working with families, especially those facing hardships and where English may not have been their primary language. Ms. Cadena holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University.

Ms. Cadena comes to Angels on Patrol from Building Arizona Families where she was a social worker for five years, working with families and law enforcement agencies to achieve stability and strive toward reunification of children with their families.
Board of Directors
Jacqui started Angels on Patrol after rescuing three children in one of the most horrific abuse cases she had ever experienced in her career as a police officer. Under her strong leadership, she has grown the organization since 2009 to include many police officers and community partners.
As an officer Jacqui worked in the Maryvale Precinct and South Mountain Precincts as well as in the Drug Enforcement Bureau, Sex Crimes Unit and the Training Academy. As a sergeant, she worked in the South Mountain and Central City Precincts as well as the Drug Enforcement Bureau. As a lieutenant, she was assigned to patrol in the Maryvale Precinct where she worked as the Crime Suppression Lieutenant until mid-2012. She lastly worked as the Acting Bureau Commander of the Public Affairs Bureau.
Jacqui retired from the Phoenix Police Department in May 2014 after serving 20 years. Jacqui founded Angels on Patrol in 2009 based on her own experiences as an officer.
Consultant to the Board
Demitria currently serves as Consultant to the Board for Angels on Patrol. She is also a member of the Arizona Black Leadership Council for the Arizona House of Representatives. Demitria works as an Implementation Relationship Manager at Wells Fargo and holds a bachelor's degree in Technical Management from DeVry University and a master's degree in Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Demitria continues her education at Grand Canyon University working toward a doctorate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Scott is a retired police officer from Phoenix Police Department and remains a reserve officer for the department. He is currently the Corporate Safety Manager for Arizona Public Service, a strong supporter of Angels on Patrol. Scott is passionate about helping our communities and supporting the work of law enforcement. He brings a long history of policy development, program evaluation, public relations, and communications experience to the Board of Directors.
Amanda Dean is currently the Chief of Specialized Operations Administration for the Arizona Department of Economic Security (AZDES) and a certified Adjunct Facilitator in the Online Criminal Justice (CJ) field. She specializes in public service leadership, High Tech Criminal Forensic Computer Investigations and provides entry level college students introductions to the CJ system as a whole. As a current student in the Doctoral Program for Management in Organizational Leadership, she is growing within the community and developing leaders with adaptive servitude leadership methodologies, with a focus of translating these theories to practice through facilitation within the law enforcement field.
In addition to her work with AZDES, Amanda Dean is an active Reserve Officer with the Maricopa Police Department. She previously worked as a Deputy Chief in Internal Affairs for the Office of Inspector General and before that as a Deputy Sheriff/Detective with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. In her free time, she loves to run, is a fierce hockey mom and embraces each and every moment of her family time.
Larry is an Arizona native and works as a traffic engineer for the City of Tempe. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering at Arizona State University. Mr. Herrera is a member of Valley Leadership Class 36, Phoenix Suns Charities 88, Valle del Sol Hispanic Leadership Institute Class of 2014, and a recipient of the Valle del Sol/Univision 40 Hispanic Leaders Under 40 Award.
Larry is a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer and Department of Child Safety advocate. In addition, Mr. Herrera mentors high school youth through the Be A Leader Foundation. He is an executive board member of the Lincoln Downtown Family YMCA and a member of the North Mountain Village Planning Committee.
Mr. Herrera has three children who currently attend WESD schools. He has been an active volunteer for District 2 Little League, Lakeview Elementary School PTA, and AYSO Region 310 Soccer for northwest Phoenix.
Anthony is a certified financial planner and Vice President with AXA. He personally helps families and small business manage, build, and transfer wealth. As a Vice President with AXA, Anthony helps run the Southwest branch that oversees Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada. In his free time, Anthony enjoys hiking, fishing, golfing, and traveling.
Debra is the Chief Marketing Officer for Public Safety Financial/Galloway; an advisory firm dedicated to serving the financial needs of public servants. She not only has a background in advertising/marketing/design but was a client relationship and financial operations leader Vanguard for nearly a decade. She brings a wealth of financial & marketing knowledge to the Board of Directors and a true passion to help others and give back to her community.
Commander Mike Pooley
Michael Pooley is a Lieutenant with the Tempe Police Department. He began his law enforcement career in 2001 with Tempe PD where he has worked as a patrol officer, member of the SWAT Team, Narcotics Detective, Police Explorer Advisor, Patrol Sergeant, Negotiator Supervisor, Media Relations Sergeant, and currently a Lieutenant over Hiring, Training, Firearms, and Media Relations.
Lt. Pooley has been recognized for his work and investigations both locally and nationally, receiving many awards and commendations, including recognition from the US Attorney’s office, as well as from the Executive Office of the President of the United States, where he and his wife were flown to Washington DC to accept the award.
For the past three years, Lt. Pooley has been assigned as the Public Information Officer for Tempe PD. Lt. Pooley works very closely with the media on a daily basis and has been instrumental in implementing and using the department’s social media platforms.
Lt. Pooley earned a B.A. in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Education, Counseling from Northern Arizona University. He also graduated from the Northwestern University School of Police Command.
Deb has been a board member with Angels on Patrol since July 2010. She has been a Phoenix Police officer since January 2000 and is currently a detective in the Domestic Violence Unit, where she has been assigned since 2004. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Angels on Patrol, Deb also volunteers weekly at Phoenix Children's Hospital. She has a bachelor's degree in Humanities from Concordia University in Irvine, CA.

Tara is a Graduate of WP Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, with a degree in Marketing.
Tara is a full time Philanthropic Real Estate Agent, part of the Angels RE Team. Christina Catalano, Jennifer Spenser, Tara Buntin and Veronica Frost, better known as Angels RE are four strong, compassionate, successful Real Estate Professionals who have always been involved personally with giving back to the community and have found a way to make an impact in the community through their business as well.
Combining their passion for real estate, charity and community leadership, has taken the philanthropic mission to a new level. With every commission earned, Angels RE donates a generous portion to local community charities.
They started this business practice through their relationship and philanthropic mindset of The Williams Real Estate Group of Sunbelt Realty.

Denison Dawson has served with The Tempe Police Department for 13 years.
His experience includes patrol, detective, hostage negotiator, field training officer, motor, and school resource officer. Denison's passion is for helping others and fulfilling needs within the Tempe community. He comes from a background he considers "rough" and less fortunate. Denison's goal in life is to give back each and every day to those around him. He states it is an honor and a privilege to serve on the Board for Angels on Patrol!
Kristen Salcito Sandquist
Kristen Salcito Sandquist is a well-known local and international philanthropist, mountain guide and businesswoman. Kristen's non-profit career began while teaching 8th grade in 1993.
She noticed the startling number of children who had few basic necessities and Circle of Friends, her first non-profit organization, was born. Since then, the program has provided thousands of children in 26 schools with food, clothing and school supplies.
In 2003, Salcito founded her second non-profit organization in Scottsdale, Arizona called Visions of Hope. Visions of Hope, contributes 100 percent of its funds to organizations that work with children and animals with disabilities in Arizona.
In 2005, Kristen received the young Philanthropist of the Year Award. In 2008, Kristen and a partner founded Swank a shop-for-a-cause business that stages ladies shopping events in Arizona, where a percentage of proceeds always go to local charities. In 2009, Kristen was honored with the Scottsdale Hero Award and nominated for the Phoenix Women of Excellence Award.
Kristen also co-founded K2 Adventures Foundation, Inc., a non-profit that benefits less fortunate and disabled children throughout the world.
Kristen earned her bachelor's degree in Education from Arizona State University in 1992 and went on to receive her master's degree from Cardinal Stritch University in 1997. Kristen is the proud mother of four sons and wife to Jeff since 2006 .
