We are community of police officers, individuals and institutions who believe in working together for our communities. We provide critical items and services to those affected by crime and at-risk youth to create a better future.
How We Work
Our programs provide direct services to families and children through a simple four stage process:
Identify the Need
When an officer comes across crisis situations involving children and/or families who they feel could use additional assistance, the officer can fill out a Family Application Form and submit it to Angels on Patrol.
Qualify the Request
A staff member will conduct follow-up with the officer and with the individual or family in question.
Approve the Services
The request for assistance is then reviewed by a team, who then decide what services are appropriate for the family or individual.
The services or resources, not cash, will be provided to the individual or family.
Once the urgent need is stabilized, staff then make appropriate referrals to additional community resources for ongoing assistance and case management services.
Law Enforcement Angel Partners
Volunteer Hours Donated
At Angels on Patrol, we refer to our donors as ‘Community Angel Partners’ because giving to Angels on Patrol is about more than a financial contribution. Our Community Angels play an integral part in the organization, and we value the expertise and perspective that they bring to the table.
How often have you given to a charity without the follow up on knowing what happened to your donation? We maintain transparency with our Community Angels by sharing detailed reports on how your donation has personally impacted someone’s life. Not only that, if you choose, you can be part of the hands-on process of helping the individuals directly.
As a Community Angel, we invite you to participate in our Annual Angel Luncheon where you can connect with other Community Angels, staff and community members. Additionally, we like to honor and celebrate your support by giving you recognition in our newsletter and, if applicable, our website to share your efforts.
